Milestone Event Rental was founded in December of 2016 and has quickly grown to be a leader in sailcloth weddings. Milestone Event Rental serves the whole state of Minnesota and parts of Iowa, Wisconsin, Dakotas, Illinois and Nebraska.

Milestone Event Rental was started by Marty Haas. Marty has worked in the event rental industry since a little kid with his families' rental store, Crown Rental. Marty left Crown in 2017 to start Milestone to focus more on larger events and sailcloth canopy weddings. Every once in a while, you will see him helping out at Crown, after all it is family and he loves what he does. With 15+ years of experience, Milestone Event Rental is nothing really new but its inventory. When you contact Milestone, you will 99% of the time talk to Marty himself, and with his years of working in the event rental industry, he will give you his best suggestions and if he can not help you out he will still refer you to other great companies that may be able to help; after all he grew up in the industry.

Milestone Event Rental was the first company to bring the sailcloth tents to the state of Minnesota. In 2017 we purchased a 32x70, 2018 we purchased a 44x103, 2019 a 20x57. And for the 2020 season we have added a 51x131 and a 59x119. In 2021 we added a 57x96 Clear Sailcloth Tent!! But what is a sailcloth canopy? Watch the video below, because words can not do it justice or call Marty and ask him. We do offer other style of canopies, but the sailcloth canopy is our favorite. Maybe yours too? Sailcloth Tents and the right party equipment rentals are the rental tents for weddings you see in your dream wedding magazines. In 2024, we added the largest sailcloth tent in the world; 81'x171'. 

We also carry Clearspan/Structure Tents 20w,30w,40w, & 60w. In clear and white tops.

In 2024, we have grew our footprint by buying an existing store Epic Event Rental. Marty's wife, Liz will be running that store and will run as it's own. Epic Event Rental will handle backyard parties  (graduation parties, birthday parties, reunions, corporate events and non-tented weddings, etc.) There will be times when the two teams will work together to make an Epic Milestone.
